The Chop Shop in Glen Cove is the best place around. I have been using their service for a few years now not just for me, but my kids too. Excellent service, kind and patient with the kids. But most importantly we all get great haircuts, Mark has some serious skills. I invite you to give them a try, and you’ll become customer for life.

Not only is the shop aesthetic and clean, but the service is crazy good. Mark worked with me around a tight schedule to get me and my friend cut up. He was super outgoing, sociable, and his cutting skills are quick and clean.. Talented family business!

This is hands down the best Barbershop on the Island! Very Clean, Professional, & Friendly. Mark is the best barber I have ever been to. After receiving my first haircut and Beard Shape up from him a couple years ago, I will not let anyone else cut my hair. He does such an amazing job & leaves you looking fresh every time. Mark and RJ both are some of the best barbers on the island. I switched here after getting tired of driving 30 Minutes to my old barber after I moved into glen cove. Turns out, mark (the owner) is best friends with my old barber and even worked at the shop years ago! I knew from then i was in good hands and I’ve never had a bad haircut here. Amazing skin fades and my beard always looks clean after. Also, really love that they clean and sanitize their clippers before each use. I’ve had too many infections over the years due to dirty equipment!

HIGHLY recommend!!! This shop is very clean and use all sanitary precautions, I make appointments and they are always running on time. I have been bringing my toddler to have his hair cut by Mark for quite some time and he never disappoints. Mark always exceeds my expectations by dealing with my son with such calmness and patience, not to mention his hair always comes out perfect! My son actually loves coming and hops right up into the seat which is not common for a 2 year old! Definitely come to the Gentleman’s Chop Shop, you will not regret it!

This has been my go-to barbershop for the past 3 years and I've never had anything but a great experience here. Every barber I've had my hair cut by there has been excellent. Clean, well put together store in a convenient location that I will continue to go to while I'm living in Glen Cove.

Prior to going to chop shop, I had always used the same barber for 15 years. By chance my barber shop was closed and I needed a quick hair cut so I found chop shop. When I walked in, There were several people ahead of me getting hair cuts. I took that time to observe the barbers while I was waiting. I’m very specific about my hair and I decided to give mark a shot, because he was the first available barber, And he seemed like he really knew what he was doing. Mark takes his job very seriously. He knows getting a bad hair cut can mean the difference of feeling great or terrible about yourself for the next couple of weeks. While I was in his chair I noticed how detail oriented mark was. He took his time and really figured out how my hair grows, and how he should cut it to achieve the style I was going for. Like I said in the beginning I am very particular about my hair cut and mark that day gained a customer for life. After going there now for a couple of months I’ve realized it’s a “true family Business” his father and his brother are also barbers. They welcome you into their shop and treat you like your part of the family. Mark always takes his time doing my hair he never gives me a rushed hair cut, and he isn’t distracted by his phone like most barbers are now. I’m particularly loyal to mark now but I have not seen a bad hair cut come out of that shop from any of the barbers. The best part about the shop is you can call or text them anytime and they will always squeeze me in and I never have to wait for more then 15-20 minutes. I noticed they do that with all their customers which is great if you have a family and are busy. Thanks Chop shop see you again soon.
